A recent graduate from the BA (Hons) Footwear Product Design and Development Course at Cordwainers , London College of Fashion, Helen Furber has developed a unique shoe that she says
….is driven by the ethos that sustainability and design aesthetics are both equally important. Personal vision is a sustainably & technology-focused design approach, without aesthetic compromise.
Furber’s shoe named Icica is a luxury concept shoe that meshes technology with an eco-friendly sensibility.
We at MADE love that not only did Furber create a shoe that is fabulous and aesthetically pleasing but she has considered the shoe’s after life once the owner (heaven forbid) no longer wears them. Made with materials, such as, organic leather dyed with a vegetable based dye, and a bioresin heel this shoe not only looks good but can be dismantled for recycling.

OMG these shoes are craaazy!!! the first is my fave! <3
Actually its just one shoe. I wanted to show Furber’s process in creating the shoe.
